“I used to be scared of bugs and never wanted to go outside. My parents would want me to go play outside but I would just sit in the front porch and read. I met a friend through the Outdoor Club. He showed me his hammock and I ended up asking for this one for Christmas.”
“It’s really a great experience being out here and connecting with other students walking around. Some students come up to me and talk. It’s really a great feeling. Or even if the don’t come up and talk to me, they stare at me, which immediately makes me feel uncomfortable, but sometimes when I wave, they wave back, so that’s good.”
