The 27th International Festival of Cultures Returns to Ferris, April 12

Ferris State UniversityFerris State University will host the 27th annual International Festival of Cultures on Sunday, April 12, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the University Center.

“The International Festival Cultures is an educational program devoted to showcasing the great diversity of cultures that Ferris has in its community,” said International Festival of Cultures Coordinator K. Lee Barnes. “It is our goal to increase awareness of the many cultures on campus and within the community by providing educational opportunities like this program.”

Approximately 40 countries and six continents will be represented during this year’s festival. The event will feature a diverse range of ethnic beverages and foods, cultural entertainment, children’s stations, live entertainment and educational tables that will have the various countries represented.

Admission is free and the event is open to the public, including the Big Rapids community. For guests to fully enjoy the food and beverages from the different countries, 50-cent food tickets are available. Current Ferris students can receive three free food passes as they enter the festival.
