Student Government Approves Co-Sponsorship, Mandate of Internal Assessment

The Student Government Association of Ferris State University approved a co-sponsorship with the campus American Marketing Association chapter to help fund the five-star event, “Hunger Around the World,” at its regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

Student Government annually budgets funding for co-sponsorships to assist Registered Student Organizations with their events, and will help in any marketing or setup needs that the organization needs during that event.

AMA will host “Hunger Around the World” on Sunday, Oct. 5. For the event, Student Government recommended a $600 co-sponsorship, and the General Assembly approved the recommendation.

Student Government also approved the new copy of the Mandate of Internal Assessment, the governing document of the Internal Assessment Division. The Internal Assessment Division of Student Government is in charge of inducting new members and making sure that member guidelines are being met.
