Pancakes with the President Kicks off the Start of Exam Week

Pancakes with the PresidentPancakes with the President to Feature Tutoring Options for Students

Ferris State University students can take a break from studying to attend Pancakes with the President at The Rock Café on Monday, Dec. 8. Ferris President David Eisler will be joined by faculty and staff to serve pancakes to students from 10 p.m. until midnight.

This free student event attracts students on the first night of finals week during the fall and spring semesters. All students are invited to attend, but must show a valid student ID.

Wayne Bersano, Student Government vice president, said that attendance at last year’s spring semester event was the best ever with more than 1,000 students participating.

“It’s an awesome opportunity to give students a break from studying for exams while at the same time letting them interact with different administrators, faculty, Brutus the Bulldog and President Eisler,” said Bersano, a native of Pinconning who is majoring in Hospitality Management.

Pancakes with the President includes games and prizes.

“We have tons of prizes to give out through raffles and trivia, so it’s a great time for everyone,” Bersano said. “Plus, who doesn’t like breakfast for dinner?”

This event is co-sponsored by Student Government, Dining Services and the Academic Support Center.
