Ferris State University’s Center for Global Studies and Engagement is hosting a reception to welcome 11 visiting faculty from Changsha Social Work College in China. The event is scheduled for Thursday, March 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Room 104 of the Interdisciplinary Resource Center on the Big Rapids campus.
The 11 faculty compose the second group from Changhsa to visit Ferris as participants in a CGSE-sponsored 12-week faculty development and exchange program. The reception begins at 4 p.m. with an introduction of the visiting faculty, followed by a short overview of Changsha Social Work College as presented by one of the faculty members.
Food and beverages will be served immediately following the presentation.
