Rising stars of the Comedy Central on Campus tour will make a stop at Ferris State University as part of Homecoming 2012 festivities.
The Thursday, Oct. 11 show will be headlined by Na’Im Lynn, best known as the opening act for famed comedian Kevin Hart. The tour marks Comedy Central on Campus’ fifth go-around of bringing its favorite rising stars to college campuses nationwide.
The 90-minute show begins at 7 p.m. in Williams Auditorium and is being hosted by Entertainment Unlimited. The show is free and open to the public, but is recommended for mature audiences only.
“This comedic event is bigger than most that have come to Ferris before,” said Melissa Hanson, EU president. “If anybody likes to laugh, they will have a good time and will see three different senses of humor in the show.”
In addition to touring worldwide with Hart, Lynn has appeared on comedy specials “Seriously Funny,” “Laugh at my Pain” and “P. Diddy Presents the Bad Boys of Comedy.”
Opening the show is Sarah Tiana, who played Carmen on Comedy Central’s “Reno 911!” and has appeared on E!, The Jamie Foxx Show, Comics Unleashed and NFL.com.
Emceeing the night will be Michael Blaustein, who has appeared on MTV’s Punk’d” and appeared in AXE and Sprint commercials.
