Derek Prusa, an Investment Finance senior at Ferris State University, was awarded the College of Business Student Excellence Award and the Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key.
Prusa, of Stevensville, was raised by David Prusa and Angela Pasula. He is vice president of the Financial Management Association, a member of the Ferris CPA Research Challenge Team and a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society.
The Student Excellence Award, given by Ferris’ College of Business, is based on scholarship participation and leadership in academic and professional student organizations, extracurricular activities and involvement in community service.
One scholarship key is awarded for each university chapter each year. Delta Sigma Pi awards its key to recognize the graduating senior with the highest grade point average from the School of Business.
