Goode Named High School Transfer Credit Specialist

Ferris State University has announced that Leah Goode has accepted the position of high school transfer specialist in the Transfer Services Center.

Goode, who started her new position on Tuesday, Jan. 3, most recently served as a recruiting officer in Admissions and Records at Ferris. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with a concentration in Public Relations, from Berry College in Rome, Ga. She earned a Master of Science degree in Sports Administration, with a Sports Information concentration, from Georgia State University in Atlanta.

“We would like to thank all of the outstanding candidates who applied for this position, as well as many faculty and staff members for their input,” said Deedee Stakely, director of the Transfer Services Center.               

The search committee was chaired by Carol Quigley and included Julie Doyle, Tamara Jackson, Charlotte Tetsworth, Amy Truong and Greg Zimmerman.
