Author and motivational speaker Eric Thomas is set to deliver the keynote address
at the 2011 Critical Knowledge Summit at Ferris State University on Wednesday, Nov.
9 from 7 to 9 p.m. in IRC 120.
The summit includes a question-and-answer session that will feature a diverse group of Ferris student leaders, and the keynote address from Thomas, a youth activist. Thomas has a published book that is titled “The Secret to Success” and subtitled, “When You Want to Succeed as Bad as You Want to Breathe.”
The goal of the event is for participants to learn keys to being successful from an up-and-coming motivational speaker and through engaging dialogue with fellow campus student leaders.
This event is sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Zeta Beta Chapter and Black Leaders Aspiring for Critical Knowledge through funds received by the Diversity and Inclusion Office Student Diversity Grant.
