Next Steps for Dual Enrolled Students Graduating from High School
Students Continuing at Ferris State University

If you dual enrolled with Ferris and plan to continue your education here after high
school graduation, follow these steps:
1. Submit a New Student Application
- Even though you were a dual-enrolled student, you must complete a freshman application for admission.
- Apply online at Ferris State Admissions.
2. Register for Orientation
3. Apply for Scholarships
- As a freshman student, you may qualify for the FerrisNext Scholarship, which provides financial support for former dual-enrolled students.
- Check out additional freshman scholarships and apply early.
4. Sign Up for Housing & Dining (If Living On Campus)
5. Submit Official Transcripts from Other Colleges (If Applicable)
- If you took dual enrollment courses at another college or university after Ferris,
request official transcripts from each institution to be sent to Ferris for credit evaluation.
Students Attending a Different College or University After High School

If you are enrolling at another college or university after high school graduation,
you will need to transfer your Ferris credits.
Submit a request to have your official transcript sent to your new college or university
