BIG RAPIDS, Mich. —

The Ferris State University men's golf team will compete in postseason play at home as the Bulldogs after earning an NCAA Tournament bid and taking part in the 2026 Midwest/Central Super Regional.

The event takes place May 7 to 9 at Ferris State’s Katke Golf Course.

The announcement of 80 teams and 32 individual student-athletes for regional competition was released by the NCAA-II Men's Golf Selection Committee. It will mark the Bulldogs' 21st trip to the NCAA postseason in the last 23 years.

The Midwest/Central Regional will consist of 10 teams from the Midwest Region along with 10 from the Central Region. Four individuals from each region will also compete in the 54-hole tournament.

At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each region will advance to the finals set for May 18 to 22 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.

The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven.

The finals will be hosted by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

Along with host Ferris State, those teams from the Midwest Region who will be making the super regional tourney appearance are top-seeded Grand Valley State University followed by University of Findlay, Missouri University of Science and Technology, University of Missouri-St. Louis, Rockhurst University, Davenport University, Tiffin University, Wayne State University and Hillsdale College in ranking order. The Bulldogs are the Midwest Region's sixth seed.

Meanwhile, University of Central Oklahoma is the Central Region's top seed and followed by Central Missouri University, Harding University, Washburn University, Winona State University, Pittsburg State University, Arkansas Tech University, Southern Arkansas University, Missouri Western State University and University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.

This year makes this the 21st time in the past 23 years in which the Bulldogs have had representation in the NCAA Tournament when it has been held. The stretch of NCAA Championship representation in men's golf ranks as one of the best in the country.

Ferris State placed third overall this spring at the 2026 GLIAC Championships held April 16 and 17 in Augusta.
