Ferris State to host town hall panel: ‘Service Alchemy: Turning moments into business gold’ June 2 at Flint Student Success Hub

Ferris State University’s Flint Student Success Hub is planning a business and hospitality-focused town hall panel discussion, drawing a range of business owners together to discuss ways to maximize growth opportunities.
The town hall will occur Monday, June 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Main Campus Event Center on the Mott Community College campus, 1401 E Court St. in Flint. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

“We’re anticipating an audience primarily composed of Ferris Hospitality Management students and other students in the College of Business local to the Flint area,” said Rachel Reeves Thelemaque, Ferris State’s director of Flint operations.
Reeves Thelemaque expects the audience to primarily include Ferris State Hospitality Management students and other students from the College of Business from the Flint area. Organizers will invite MCC students to the town hall and note that this event is open to the public and anyone seeking to build from the ground up.
Attendees will hear from a panel of business owners featuring Terrill Patterson, owner of Rellies Hospitality; Alex and Natalie Kadie, owners of Eight Ten Nail Bar; and Nate Brown, chef and owner of Elements Modern Kitchen & Cocktails.
The Flint Hub is a product of Ferris State University’s longstanding partnership with Mott Community College to help provide the resources for success to students for a more comprehensive and personalized experience on the east side of Michigan.
Through this collaboration, students have opportunities to earn their degrees faster and more affordably.
