BIG RAPIDS, Mich. —

Ferris State University is introducing new men’s basketball head coach Bobby Pietrack at a press conference at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20.

Pietrack on Wednesday was named the 14th head coach in Bulldog men’s basketball history and will meet the media at the event, which will take place inside the Gold Room overlooking the Center for Athletics Performance in the Ewigleben Sports Complex, 210 Sports Drive.

Pietrack takes over for former Bulldog head coach Andy Bronkema, who recently accepted the head coaching position at NCAA Division I Central Michigan following 12 seasons leading FSU.

A veteran collegiate coach, Pietrack served as the head coach at fellow NCAA Division II power Fort Lewis College in Colorado from 2015-24, leading the Skyhawks to three Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Regular-Season Championships, three RMAC Tournament titles, five NCAA DII Tournament appearances and an average of nearly 23 wins per season.

During his time as the head coach at Fort Lewis, Pietrack posted a 189-75 overall record with a 72 percent winning percentage and ranked among the top 10 DII head coaches.

The press conference is open to the media and the general public is invited. It will also be streamed on the Bulldogs' official YouTube page.

The event will include comments from Pietrack and Ferris State Athletics Director Steve Brockelbank Pietrack. Media in attendance will have an opportunity for one-on-one interviews with Pietrack.

Tuesday's press conference will be available on YouTube here.
