Ferris State University's Dr. Emily Zoet Honored with 2025 ACBSP Teaching Excellence Award

Dr. Emily Zoet, an accounting professor at Ferris State University, has been awarded the 2025 ACBSP Teaching Excellence Award by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. This prestigious award is given to educators who demonstrate outstanding teaching abilities within the academic realm.
Dr. Zoet is also on the board of directors for the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. The organization has over 17,500 members. Her dedication reaches beyond the classroom to gain knowledge to give back to students.
Dr. Zoet will be honored for her dedication to classroom excellence and celebrated alongside other regional awardees at the ACBSP Conference 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada, June 18 - 22. During the event, she will receive a physical award and a $500 honorarium. Additionally, the recipients of the International Teaching Excellence Award, representing both baccalaureate/graduate and associate degree-granting institutions, will be announced and formally recognized at the conference. As a regional recipient, Dr. Zoet is now in the running for the prestigious International Teaching Excellence Award.
