Dawg Days on April 26 to offer a first Ferris State experience for potential Bulldogs

Ferris State to host Dawg Days event for prospective students
Ferris State University’s final Dawg Days session begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 26, for interested high school students and potential transfer candidates.
BIG RAPIDS, Mich. —

More than 100 high-school students and transfer candidates will participate in Ferris State University’s “Dawg Days” program on Saturday, April 26.

The Admissions and Financial Aid teams lead the program, and Emily Hicks, assistant director of orientation, anticipates a strong attendance estimate for guests who will register beginning at 9 a.m. for the event at the university’s David Eisler Center, 805 Campus Drive.

“We provide them with a program on financial aid and present a resource fair in the Eisler Center so that they can learn about all Ferris can offer,” Hicks said. “There will also be a student panel discussion so our guests can learn what current Bulldogs enjoy about their campus. Following that, all guests are welcome to join us for lunch in the Quad Café.”

Optional campus tours following the meal are the event’s final element.

Admissions and orientation leaders then gear up for Ferris State’s 2025 orientation program beginning Monday, June 9. Orientation consists of three sessions per week with similar schedules for the weeks of June 16 and July 14.
