BIG RAPIDS, Mich. — 

For the third week in a row, Ferris State University volleyball players both Olivia Henneman-Dallape and Kaylee Maat have been named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Players of the Week.

Henneman-Dallape, from Oregon, has been Offensive Player of the Week for weeks straight, and Maat, from Hudsonville, earned the Setter of the Week three consecutive weeks.

The duo fueled the undefeated Bulldogs, ranked No. 5 in the nation, to a road sweep in Michigan's Upper Peninsula last weekend as Ferris State improved to 11-0 on the season.

Henneman-Dallape posted a team-best 40 kills with only 10 errors on 95 attacks for a .316 hitting figure in road wins at Michigan Tech University and Northern Michigan University.

She added three solo blocks and three assists on the weekend. She compiled 45.5 points for a 6.50 points per set average and totaled 5.71 kills per set on the trip. The senior leader had 18 kills in Friday's 3-0 sweep over the Huskies and came back with 22 kills on Saturday in a 3-1 triumph at NMU.

A senior leader, Maat had 69 total assists on the weekend to go with 20 digs and nine kills along with two solo blocks and three block assists. Maat averaged 9.86 assists and 2.86 digs per set for the Bulldogs in addition to her five total blocks. She had 25 assists with 11 digs in the victory over the Huskies and came back with 44 assists, nine digs and four blocks on Saturday at NMU.

Ferris State will wrap up its season-opening 12-match road swing with a non-league tilt at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Northwood University in Midland.

Ferris State then plays its first home contests this weekend, hosting University of Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday, Oct. 4, and Purdue Northwest University on Saturday, Oct. 5 as part of homecoming weekend in Big Rapids with both matches set for 6 p.m.
