After Audubon

June 3 – Aug 16, 2024

An award-winning recreation of John James Audubon’s Birds of America by Canadian artist M. Bernard Loates. This collection represents a finished edition of Audubon’s original works in his double elephant folio.  Birds of America was originally printed between 1827 – 1838 and contained 435 watercolors of North American birds reproduced from hand-engraved plates. The works are considered to be the archetype of wildlife illustration.

Time of Change: Documenting the Struggle of Civil Rights

Aug 26 – Sep 28, 2024

Time of Change presents 30 photographs by Bruce Davidson that capture the struggle for justice and equality during a time of Freedom Rides, protests, marches, and police violence. The exhibit also includes 15 photographs by recent photographers documenting the resistance to racial injustices, including cruelties done under cover of law.

Beyond the Built Environment celebrates the contributions of diverse designers and advocates for equitable built environments and communities.
