Locations:
The Interior Design minor introduces students to the principles of designing functional, user-centered interior environments. Students explore foundational concepts in space planning, materials and finishes, color theory, sustainability, and design communication. Through coursework led by experienced faculty who are active in the field, students develop an understanding of how interior spaces support human experience and organizational goals.
This minor complements majors in areas such as Architecture and Sustainability, Facilities Management, Art and Design, Construction Management, and other disciplines where knowledge of built environments is valuable. Students will expand their creative and technical skillsets while gaining insight into the professional world of interior design.
