Push the Boundaries of What Design Can Do

Learn to lead, connect, and transform systems across industries in our Collaborative Design program. Prepare to apply your curiosity, become a strategic thinker, and a creative problem solver who knows how to use design to drive change in business, nonprofit, and community settings. You’ll build expertise in communication, deep collaboration, and visual storytelling while developing an understanding of design's role in sustainability, innovation, and the global economy.
 
You’ll graduate with a versatile design skillset and the confidence to work across disciplines from UX and service design to social impact and strategic consulting. Whether collaborating with a team or launching your own ideas, you’ll be ready to shape solutions that respond to real-world needs.

Community Partnerships

Work with community partners like Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation, the River Restoration Project, Disability Advocates of Kent County, and others to get a deeper understanding of how collaborative design builds inclusion, sustainability, and equity.
