Collaborative Design Minor

 

The Collaborative Design minor at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University helps students strengthen creative teamwork skills and learn how design thinking operates across disciplines. Students build a foundation in core design principles and apply them in collaborative studio environments where communication, problem-solving, and shared ideation drive project outcomes.

This minor supports students in becoming design facilitators who can bridge multiple areas of expertise, guide group workflows, and help teams translate ideas into meaningful solutions. It pairs well with majors in art, design, and related fields where collaboration and project-based work are essential.
