About
Lee Davis, IIDA, NCIDQ, IDEC, EDAC, LEED-AP, is an Associate Professor of Interior
Design at Kendall College of Art and Design and a partner in the design firm Lake
Affect Design Studio. She has been practicing interior design for more than 25 years
and has experience in both the commercial and residential sectors. With a history
in healthcare and commercial office design, Lee spent time working at both small firms
and with large furniture manufacturers before joining forces with Gayle DeBruyn at
Lake Affect Design Studio, focusing on environmental and user-centered design strategies
for commercial, residential and educational/institutional clients. Lee is active on
the Design Committee for the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum and also serves
on the board for the Michigan Chapter of IIDA. Lee earned her BFA in Interior Design
from Kendall College of Art and Design and an MA in Environmental Design from Michigan
State University.
