Master of Architecture

test

Statement

I chose to study architecture because I have always been a creative thinker who loves problem-solving. Architecture allows me to merge these passions, designing spaces that are both functional and inspiring. I have always been interested in the psychological effects that spaces have on people, and I strive to design spaces that evoke positive emotions. In my academic work, I have explored ways to integrate architecture with nature, embracing organic forms and leaning into natural contour bias.

After graduating I will continue my path towards becoming a licensed architect. I am excited to continue developing my skills and focusing on creating architecture that prioritizes user well-being.

What my time at KCAD meant to me

KCAD has enriched my education with another valuable layer of knowledge. Its location in downtown Grand Rapids has been incredibly rewarding, providing me with opportunities to connect with local firms through school-led interactions.
