Master of Fine Arts Painting
Statement
My inspiration of artwork is drawn from the expressive theory of art, where emotion,
identity, and diverse cultures aligned by form, color, symbolism, and metaphysical
themes. Rooted in Indigenous wisdoms and storytelling, allows me to create human life
experiences, elemental forces, and imprints of self-discovery. Each art piece serves
as an invitation to enter a space to converse, reflect, and connect. Reclaiming narratives
that evolves with strength and beauty of Indigenous expression.

What my time at KCAD meant to me
My time in the Master of Fine Arts Painting program has been a transformative period
of my artistic evolution, personal growth, and exploration of expression. I have expanded
a dynamic understanding of visual content, language, and refined methods and skills.
The program has provided me with the space to be my authentic and organic self, utilizing
the resources, and knowledge from professors I have connected overtime. I'm eager
to continue to collaborate and engage with my communities through art.
