Amy Winker
Director of Budgetary Planning and Analysis
Amy Winker is the person behind the scenes who plans, develops, coordinates, and allocates the University's operating budgets. In addition, she is responsible for formulating budget policies and procedures. Amy serves an advisory role on State budget matters, collective bargaining, and University-wide fiscal issues.
Her analysis and recommendations are essential to the University's annual state budget request and annual operating budget, including the setting of tuition and fees. She chairs the University Tuition & Student Fees Committee. She serves as a liaison with the State of Michigan Budget Office relative to the University's annual operating budget request and State-mandated (HEIDI-Higher Education Institutional Data Inventory) reporting as well as selected Federal reporting requirements.
Amy received her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Miami.
