Atwell LLC Surveying Annual Scholarship
One (1) $1,000 Scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time sophomore, junior or senior student majoring in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Additional Requirements: Student shall have demonstrated experience in on-campus surveying-related student organizations. 


Atwell Surveying Engineering
Annual Scholarship
One (1) $1,000 Scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time freshman student majoring in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Must have a minimum 2.75 GPA
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Additional Requirements: Students primary residence must be from the thumb region of Michigan (counties of Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac, St. Clair, or Tuscola).
  • Preference given to graduates of Sandusky High School from Sandusky, Michigan.


Craig and Tamara Amey "Beyond The Books" Annual Scholarship

Award amount varies annually
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time junior or senior student majoring in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Additional Requirements: Student shall have demonstrated industry related and personal extracurricular activities as well as community involvement.


David R. Greer Surveying Engineering Endowed Scholarship
Award amount varies annually
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time student enrolled in any Surveying Engineering program
  • GPA is considered
  • Financial need is considered*
  • Additional Requirements: Preference given to junior and senior level students with above average academic standing; must have demonstrated leadership potential.


Donald C. Lowell Annual Surveying Scholarship
One (1) $1,000 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester 

  • Full-time junior or senior majoring in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Preference given to eligible students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the 
    Office of Student Financial Aid
  • Recipient must be a member of the ACSM Student Chapter (Burt & Mullett)
  • The recipient shall have a strong work ethic demonstrated through voluntary, professional and/or community organizations and/or activities.


Geodetic Designs, Inc. Annual Scholarship
One (1) $1,000 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester 

  • Full-time junior or senior majoring in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Financial need NOT considered


James D. and Katy Moore Surveying Engineering Annual Scholarship
One (1) $750 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester 

  • Full-time sophomore, junior or senior enrolled in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Minimum GPA is 2.5
  • Preference given to eligible students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid

 
John R. and Lynda D. Fenn Surveying Annual Scholarship  
One (1) $2,500 scholarship

Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time sophomore, junior or senior student enrolled in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Minimum GPA 2.5
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Additional Requirements: The student shall have demonstrated interest in student, local chapter, state and national level professional activities.

 
KEBS, Inc. Scholarship
One (1) $500 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time student enrolled in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Minimum GPA is 3.0
  • Financial need is not considered 
  • Additional requirements:  Preference given to junior and senior level students; must have demonstrated leadership potential.  


Khagendra Thapa Surveying Scholarship
One (1) $500 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time student enrolled in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher 
  • Additional Requirements: Preference given to junior or senior level students; preference given to female students with demonstrated commitment to the advancement of women in the field of surveying; must have demonstrated leadership potential and the capacity to contribute significantly to their chosen profession; must have at least an average academic status; sponsored students are not eligible. 


Lewis & Lewis Professional Surveying Scholarship
One (1) $600 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time junior or senior enrolled in the Surveying Engineering program
  • GPA is considered
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Additional Requirements: Preference given to Non-Traditional students; must have at  least an average academic status; sponsored students are not eligible.  


Mary C. Feindt Surveying Scholarship
One (1) $500 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time sophomore or above enrolled in any Surveying Engineering program
  • GPA is not considered
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Additional Requirements:  Must be a female student in any surveying engineering  program with a good academic standing.


Matt and Sara Nawrocki Gratitude Endowed Scholarship
Scholarship amount varies annually 
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time sophomore and/or junior student majoring in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • The recipient shall be a member of Surveying Engineering-related Registered Student Organization(s) at Ferris State University such as:  the Burt and Mullet Chapter of the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping and/or the Lambda Sigma Honor Society - Mary Feindt Chapter.
  • The recipient shall also demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm, leadership and involvement in the Surveying Engineering program and the Big Rapids community.


Northern Chapter - Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors Annual Scholarship
One (1) $500 annual scholarship (Due December 1)
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time undergraduate student majoring in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Financial need is considered (you must complete a FAFSA)
  • Minimum GPA 2.0
  • Preference given to students who are current members of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors and have residence within the Northern Chapter Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors geographic area.


Richard L. Rought Surveying Scholarship

One (1) $1,000 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time sophomore student enrolled in the Surveying Engineering program
  • GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Financial need may be considered* 
  • Additional Requirements: Preference given to residents of West Michigan; must have at least an average academic standing; potential ability and student desire may be considered; sponsored students are not eligible to apply.


Robert C. Burtch Geodetic Surveying Scholarship
One (1) $500 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time student enrolled in the Surveying Engineering program
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Additional Requirements: Preference given to senior students; must have demonstrated leadership potential and the capacity to contribute significantly to his or her chosen profession; must be a member of American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) or Institute of Navigation  


Rowe Incorporated Scholarship
One (1) $2,000 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time sophomore or junior enrolled in any Surveying Engineering program
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Additional Requirements: Must be a student member of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors and a member of the Ferris State University Burt & Mullett Student Chapter of ACSM; must demonstrate participation in offices and positions of leadership in extra curricular and/or community activities and be a US citizen and a resident of Michigan. 


Tingley & Associates Scholarship
One (1) $500 scholarship
Divided equally between Fall and Spring semester
