Ferris State University recognizes that students may enter the institution with insufficient basic skills in subjects such as English and mathematics and will be required to enroll in developmental courses, courses numbered below 100, to prepare them for success in college-level coursework. Because these developmental courses are not college-level, they will not be counted toward graduation requirements for any degree program.
