Welcome to the Michigan Housing and Dining Services Officers Association conference! Join us in the historic city of Big Rapids, Michigan, in Bulldog Country, situated on the picturesque Ferris State University Campus.
Over three enriching days, from September 25 to 27, housing and dining professionals from across the state will gather to share insights, best practices, and innovative ideas to enhance the quality of student living and dining experiences.
To ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, we have partnered with the Holiday Inn Express conveniently located near the conference venue. As our host hotel, the Holiday Inn Express will offer exclusive accommodations at special rates for conference attendees. The block rate is available Sunday-Wednesday under MHDSOA. Traveling to and from the conference will be a breeze, as we will provide complimentary shuttles from the Holiday Inn Express to and from campus each day. Our goal is to ensure you have a seamless and stress-free experience throughout the event. We will also have guest parking passes available if you choose to drive to campus.

Get to Know Ferris State University History
Ferris State University, located in Big Rapids, Michigan, has a rich history that dates back to 1884 when it was founded as the Big Rapids Industrial School. Initially, the school's main focus was to provide education in practical skills to meet the demands of the local industrial workforce.
