Graphic Design Minor

 Minor

 Locations:

The Graphic Design Minor at Kendall College of Art and Design introduces students to essential principles of visual communication, design thinking, and creative problem-solving. Rooted in a hands-on, studio-centered approach, this minor allows students to explore typography, layout, visual systems, and digital design tools used across traditional and emerging media.

Students are encouraged to experiment, ask questions, and develop their own creative voice as they learn how design shapes perception and meaning. The minor strengthens a student’s ability to communicate strategically and effectively, making it a valuable complement to majors in fields such as marketing, illustration, digital art, industrial design, fine arts, and other creative or communication-driven disciplines.

By completing the Graphic Design Minor, students gain foundational skills that enhance their professional versatility and prepare them for collaborative work in a wide range of design-related environments.
