Biography

Anne started at Ferris State University's Kendall College of Art and Design in 2005 and became a tenure-track faculty member in 2007, receiving tenure in 2011. Prior to joining the faculty at KCAD, Anne held one-year temporary positions teaching art history at Western Michigan University and Central Michigan University, and was a visiting lecturer at Michigan State University from 1996-2003. Prior to pursuing her graduate degree in art history, Anne was a vice president of marketing in a communications and marketing firm and then was a partner in her own creative design firm which offering effective design and communication solutions.

Anne has served on national boards for the College Arts Association (CAA) and the Visual Resource Association (VRA), and has chaired conference sessions at the CAA’s annual conference and the Midwest Art History Society’s annual conference, and presented papers on teaching and pedagogy at international conferences.
