The Stash: Resources for Students

A culture of support to students to foster success.

KCAD offers a wide variety of student support resources to assist with barriers faced inside or outside of the classroom. The Stash is one such support resource that is open to all students, and no income verification is requested or required to access it.

The Stash is located in the Student Services Office (7th floor, 17 Fountain St. NW building)

HOURS OF OPERATION

Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or by appointment.

How to Get Resources

The Stash is stocked with food, clothing, art supplies, and school supplies. This is a resource for KCAD students that are in need, regardless of whether they have a one-time or on-going need.

Food

A wide variety of nonperishable groceries are available, with emphasis on healthy food that can help support a balanced diet and smaller, packaged items that are easy to take on the go.

Clothing

We offer everything from casual clothing to suit Michigan's changing seasons to dressier items to help students look sharp for professional opportunities.

Art/School Supplies

For students in need of supplies for class or their own creative projects, an assortment of paper, pens, markers, and other essentials is always in stock.

How to Give Resources

The Stash accepts donations in form of direct payments or in-kind gifts of groceries, art/design supplies, or similar items.
