Master of Architecture
Statement
Throughout my graduate studies within the M.Arch program, I have been interested in how architecture interacts with other mediums of art, or how the horizons of architectural typology can be expanded upon through the borrowing of other mediums.
My thesis project explores this idea through a formal and theoretical lens. By focusing on the aural and acoustical qualities of a space in the preliminary design process, a thoughtful curation of sound, music, and atmosphere can be conceived to heighten the experiential elements and to create new, unique typologies within a space.

What my time at KCAD meant to me
Grad school has given me the confidence and abilities to succeed in the field of architecture. Through the M.Arch program, I have learned how to navigate the necessary software, as well as develop my artistic skills through drawing, sketching, painting, etc.
