Statement
I've come to understand that architecture has the power to make a significant impact on people's lives and the environment. As such, I'm committed to integrating sustainable building practices and "green" techniques into my future work, striving to create spaces that not only enhance quality of life but also minimize our carbon footprint on Earth.
Looking ahead, I plan to carry the experiences and knowledge gained at KCAD into my professional practice. I envision myself working across a spectrum of building typologies, from single-family homes to parks, museums, libraries, and schools. By embracing diverse design challenges, I aim to continuously refine my skills, engage in meaningful dialogue between different architectural typologies, and contribute positively to various communities and local contexts.

What my time at KCAD meant to me
My time at KCAD has been transformative, helping me shape my approach to architecture and design. I have been provided the platform to delve into my passion for design and explore the dialogue between theory and practice. During my tenure, I've grown immensely, both professionally and personally. I've honed my critical thinking skills, learned to consider design at various scales, and have become proficient in programs such as Revit, InDesign, and SketchUp.
Beyond technical skills, I've also cultivated a deeper appreciation for collaboration and the exchange of ideas, and how invaluable it is to the design process. Working alongside talented individuals and on a diverse range of project types has enriched my pattern of thinking and has challenged me to think more critically and creatively.
In essence, my time at KCAD has equipped me with the tools and mindset necessary to navigate the complexities of the architectural profession. With a strong foundation in design principles, a commitment to sustainability, and a passion for creating spaces that resonate with people, I'm ready to embark on a fulfilling journey as an architect, making a tangible difference in the world through thoughtful and innovative design.
