With my time in the Master of Arts in Design program, I’ve expanded on multiple different interests and found my passion for sustainable design, specifically within the world of fashion.

I firmly believe that design goes beyond just the aesthetics; it can be a powerful force for positive change. I am passionate about advocating for a more sustainable future, starting with the redesign of my own company, Ocean Eye Co. As I embark on this new phase for Ocean Eye Co., my focus is on women’s swimwear. I’ve completely redesigned the business model to prioritize sustainability. I am now using recycled fabrics, eco-friendly packaging and shipping supplies, a made to order production process, and more—all while keeping my commitment to sustainability and slow fashion at the forefront of operations.

As I continue to evolve and innovate with Ocean Eye Co. and nurture my growth in graphic design, I firmly believe in the power of design as a versatile tool for problem-solving and visual storytelling. Whether in graphic design, fashion, or beyond, design serves as a language that communicates ideas, values, and emotions. With its potential to create positive, meaningful change, design is at the forefront of driving innovation and progress.
