Trent Eekhoff Memorial Scholarship Endowment

The Trent Eekhoff Memorial Scholarship Endowment was established in 2017 in honor and memory of Trent Eekhoff by his family and friends. Trent graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) in 1997. He became a successful entrepreneur with his helm seat business EDA (Eekhoff Design Associates), eventually becoming President of Bennington Marine, where he retired in 2014. The Trent Eekhoff Memorial Scholarship supports KCAD students with a preference for students with financial need.

Eligibility:

  • The recipient must be a full or part-time undergraduate student enrolled in the Industrial Design or Product Design program at KCAD.
  • Incoming, current or transfer students must have a minimum 2.75 GPA at the time of application
  • Preference shall be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need via the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.

Recipients are eligible to receive this renewable scholarship as long as they continue to meet the defined scholarship criteria and are making satisfactory progress toward a degree.

To apply you must be accepted into a KCAD degree-granting program.
