Donor Supported Scholarship

Berkowicz and Easley Scholarship Endowment for Students with Disabilities

The Berkowicz Foundation provided the initial support necessary to establish this scholarship endowment. This foundation was later joined by Dr. William Easley (deceased) who made an additional gift of scholarship in memory of his wife Barbara Easley. Thanks to the support of these generous donors KCAD was able to establish this endowed scholarship to provide financial support for KCAD students who have a physical or learning disability.

Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate or graduate student with a physical or learning disability who has been accepted or is enrolled at least half-time as a degree seeking student
  • Incoming, current, or transfer students must have a minimum 2.50 GPA at the time of application
  • Financial need as demonstrated by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form will be a secondary consideration

Eligibility will be confirmed confidentially through KCAD's Office of Counseling and Disability Services. The final award determination will be made by KCAD's standing Scholarship Committee.

Recipients are eligible to receive this scholarship for a total of four years as long as they remain in good standing (2.00 undergraduate GPA or 3.00 graduate GPA) and satisfactory progress towards a degree is being made.

To apply you must be accepted into a KCAD degree-granting program.
