ABOUT READMISSION TO KCAD
- There is no cost to apply for re-admission to KCAD.
- If you’re applying for re-admission, you must meet the same academic requirements expected of any new applicant.
- If you withdrew from KCAD or took a semester or more off (not including the summer semester), you must meet the curriculum requirements that are current at the time of your re-enrollment, not those of your original enrollment.
- If you attended another college or university in the interim, we base your re-admission on your academic standing there, as well as at KCAD
- If you attended another college or university since leaving KCAD, you must submit an official transcript from that institution along with your re-admission application.
- If you were suspended or dismissed from KCAD, or if disciplinary proceedings are pending, your re-admission is subject to the criteria and standards of the program in which you’re seeking admission.

HOW TO APPLY FOR READMISSION
1. APPLY
Complete your free KCAD application online*. Make sure to select "Readmit" as your student type so we know you're a returning member of the KCAD community.
*NOTE: We recommend using the Chrome browser to complete your application. You may experience technical difficulties when using Safari.
2. SEND TRANSCRIPTS
Submit a transcript for any college courses you have taken since the last time you were at KCAD. Check out Ferris State University's handy how-to guide for help.
3. WATCH FOR GOOD NEWS
Watch your mailbox and your email (the one you used to apply) for messages from our Admissions team. You will hear back from us within one week of completing your application.
4. DIVE BACK IN
After you have been readmitted to KCAD, you're ready to jump back into life as in our creative community. If it has been awhile since you were here, we recommend connecting with an advisor or contacting your program chair to ensure you're set up for success.
