A New Home for Champions

The Ferris State Bulldogs have a championship mindset. They have the personal and
collective commitment to do what it takes to win, the right way. Whether it be in
the classroom, the workplace or in collegiate athletics, if given an opportunity,
our nearly 400 Bulldog student-athletes make the achieving of success a high priority.

Throughout our proud history, our teams have displayed this mindset with frequent
GLIAC, CCHA, WCHA and NCAA championship tournament appearances. Over the past decade
alone, the Bulldogs have racked up many major accomplishments, including 23 conference
regular-season titles, 17 conference tournament championships, eight NCAA regional
crowns, six national semifinal appearances, three berths in a national title game
and the school’s first national championship.

This championship mindset requires an expectation for physical and mental development.
Therefore, our sustained success and lofty expectations rest on our ability to provide
our student-athletes a pathway to success that they can envision during the recruiting
process and experience once they arrive on campus.

                        High-Performance Resources

With high expectations comes an even greater need for the resources to sustain success.
The Center for Athletics Performance (CAP) addresses many of our current facility
needs by repurposing and renovating the former volleyball gym into a 6,000-square
foot Strength & Conditioning facility complete with a nutrition and hydration station,
the creation of a regulation-sized volleyball/basketball/multipurpose arena to be

space that can be utilized by all of our 17 intercollegiate teams.
