Academic Literacies Center
The University Writing Center and the Academic Support Center occupy part of the first floor of the library in the Academic Literacies Center. This partnership supports a more holistic approach to helping students who are struggling academically by creating a facility that provides one-stop access to resources and faculty and staff expertise in reading, writing, mathematics and optometric services.
Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning (FCTL)
The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning’s aim is to support all who teach at and for Ferris State University. We do this – individually and collaboratively – by responding to and meeting the needs and interests of individual faculty, academic units, and the broader University community.

Media Production
The mission of the Media Production unit of the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning is to provide assistance to faculty, staff, and students in the design, development, implementation, and distribution of media-related resources in support of Ferris instruction and activities.
Office of Multicultural Student Services
The Office of Multicultural Student Services (OMSS) promotes the intellectual understanding and appreciation of diversity, inclusion and social justice by creating opportunities for learning and leadership development for our campus community. In addition, they provide meaningful support to assist in the transition, retention and graduation of our underrepresented student populations.
