Profile

As Library Instruction Coordinator, Kristy Motz develops, promotes, and delivers library instruction sessions for a wide range of Ferris classes and serves as a resource for information literacy university-wide. She also assists in providing general and specialized reference in person, by phone, and online. As a FSU alum, she welcomes the opportunity to be involved with activities within both the university and Big Rapids communities.

Kristy is the subject librarian to the School of Education and the Television and Digital Media Production program, with concentrated work in collection development and in-depth instruction for those areas. In addition, you will find her behind the reference desk and instructing in many freshman-level classes. She also updates, coordinates, and instructs a large number of FSUS classes every year.

She enjoys judging high school speech tournaments and supporting Stage M community theatre and the many other arts opportunities in Big Rapids.
