How to Register for Wintermester
Registering for these special Wintermester courses is a little different than you may be used to. Follow these four simple steps. If you get stuck, get in touch with your Dean's Office.
It is strongly recommended that students only enroll in one Wintermester course.
1. Check Out Available Courses
Look at the available courses here and then head to MyFSU and click on the Student tab. Once there, click on MyRegistration and then Look Up Classes in the left-hand menu.
2. Select Your Term
Select the appropriate Spring term from the drop-down menu and click Submit. Wintermester courses are part of Spring semester registration.
3. Advanced Search
Click on the Advanced Search button. Highlight every subject in the Subjects menu and then click Wintermester in the Attribute Type menu. Now click Section Search.
4. Pick Your Section
Take a look at the Rem column to see which classes still have open seats. If you haven't already done so, now is a good time to contact your advisor to make sure this course fits your degree plan.
Keep in mind that you will have to wait until your assigned registration time to register. To find your assigned registration time, head to the Student tab on MyFSU. Click MyRegistration from the top menu and then click Registration Status/Advisor Information on the left-hand menu.
How to Join the Waitlist
