Personal Counseling Center

We are deeply saddened to have learned of the tragic loss of a member of the Ferris State University family.  We offer our deepest condolences to the student's family, friends, and loved ones.

During this time of great loss, we are reminded of the importance of community.  Losing a fellow student and member of our university can be very difficult.  We encourage those who feel they may need additional support to contact the Personal Counseling Center at 231-591-5968, email  [email protected], or reach out to the Dean of Student Life, Joy Pulsifer, 231-591-2612 for any emotional or academic assistance you may need.

Remember that it is ok to ask for help.  It doesn’t mean that you are weak, or just want attention.  Everyone needs help from time to time, and if you or a friend are struggling, you should reach out to talk with someone right away.

In response to COVID-19, the Personal Counseling Center (PCC) is adapting services to adhere to safety recommendations for students and staff.  The response to COVID-19 is ever-changing, and we encourage checking our website often for updates and resources.
