Rhonda Atteberry has worked at Ferris for over 8 years. Rhonda feels the most important aspect of her job is helping students and patients. She welcomes patients to come to her home to pick up equipment, prescriptions and or medicines if it works better for the patient. She went out of her way to find equipment for a couple that have low vision and are speaking impaired at no cost to the patient. She is the mother of 5 children and helps the neighbor with his children. She is active with her family in 4-H, soccer, volleyball and many church activities.

Tim Bowman

Tim Bowman

Physical Plant - Carpentry

Tim Bowman has worked at Ferris for over 31 years. He takes his job of security on campus very seriously. He is known as "Mr. Commencement" and has figured out a way to set up the 790 chairs in less than 10 minutes using 16 people. Tim has been involved with area T-ball teams and started Santa's Secret Shop at Stanwood Elementary. He was a member of the Mecosta County Sheriff Posse and the Mecosta-Austin volunteer fire department for many years. He is also active in his church and devoted to his family.

Jason DaDay has worked at Ferris for over 6 years. Jason enjoys people, especially talking with them and hearing their stories. He works with many departments on campus to coordinate orientation and group visits on campus. He does sports broadcasting play-by-play for football and basketball and is the public address announcer for hockey. He is a member of the Hersey village council and is currently serving as the Village Zoning Administrator. He is also a member of the Hersey Heritage Days Committee.

Sherry Hayes

Sherry Hayes has worked at Ferris for 16 years. Sherry sees her strengths as seeing the big picture and her organizational skills. She likes to make people feel welcome on campus. She works with Bulldog Beginnings/Welcome Week activities, First Impressions, Relay for Life and Meijer Madness. She has been a team mom for Rocket football including taking videos, organizing parents, snacks and team tailgate. Sherry has helped friends with the Big Rapids High School Red and Blue Football Game, silent auction and potluck. Sherry is also a member of the Brookside PTO and helps with the school book fair.

Tracy Powers

Tracy Powers

Tracy Powers has worked at Ferris since she began as a student employee 25+ years ago. Tracy feels that she is a salesperson for Ferris. She has worked to develop 4 new scholarships in the last 2 years for Grand Rapids campus students. She has worked at many places on campus. Tracy takes a special interest in the lives of students. One example is she took time with student that was struggling with depression and loss of medical coverage. Tracy used her connections to help get the student a low cost prescription plan and even organized a food drive and collected donations from staff members to assist the student until her insurance kicked in. Tracy encouraged this student to stay in school and was right there with her at graduation. Tracy is on various boards and committees. She is secretary of her children's PTO and is a Boy Scout Troop Leader.
