Biography

Dr. Dinardo is a Professor at the Michigan College of Optometry. She graduated with high distinction from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2007. One year later, she completed a residency focusing on corneal diseases and specialty contact lenses. She earned a Master of Business Administration from Ferris State University. Dr. Dinardo is also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Dinardo has experience working in various modes of practice. She has been a clinical attending, classroom, and laboratory instructor at the Michigan College of Optometry for over 10 years. Her interests include specialty contact lens fitting, advanced ophthalmic procedures, and the diagnosis and treatment anterior segment disease. Dr. Dinardo is a nationally recognized lecturer and researcher on the topics of dry eye disease and contact lenses.

Dr. Dinardo is a member of the Part 1 exam development committee for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO). She is a Chair of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) admittance committee responsible for awarding fellowships. She is the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Dry Eye Disease. Dr. Dinardo’s top priorities are to provide an innovative learning experience for her students as well as provide the highest quality eye care to her patients.
