The Ferris Pride Committee is sponsoring the Spring 2022 Ferris Spirit Spring Break Photo Contest. This contest is open to all Ferris students, faculty and staff who want to showcase their Ferris spirit while on our spring break. Categories include most creative, most daring, cold-weather location, warm weather location and editor's choice. This year we encourage individual photo submissions as well as group photo submissions including Greek life, clubs, sport teams, and other RSO’s on campus. The more creative and prideful, the better. Winners will be selected by judges and will receive a Ferris pullover and a second smaller prize. Contest winners will be notified by email.
To enter, we ask that you:
- Wear Ferris apparel while on Spring Break (no matter where you are)
- Take a “Ferris Spirit” picture of yourself wearing your Ferris “gear” (REMEMBER TO TAKE FERRIS GEAR WITH YOU, BULLDOGS) while on Spring Break (photos including alcohol, alcohol promotions, drugs, drug paraphernalia, or nudity will not be judged and will be destroyed)
- Send your photo one of the following ways to enter the contest:
- Email your “Ferris Spirit” photo to [email protected]
- Complete entries are also accepted via DM on:
- The main Ferris State University Facebook page.
- The @ferrisstateu Instagram account.
- All entries should include the following information for the prominently featured
individuals, identifying them specifically (for example: pictured left to right):
- First and Last name
- Academic Major
- Hometown
- Year in school of the individual or individuals officially submitting the photo
- A caption that describes where the photo was taken, the date it was taken, and what the person is doing at that location.
Please keep in mind photos submitted may be posted on official Ferris social media
accounts in addition to other Ferris publications. Contestants are encouraged to be
safe and creative while taking their photos and submit to submit them as early as
possible while on Spring Break. Rules are subject to change at any time. The official
entrant/winner is the person who takes/submits the photo for the contest. The deadline for submission is Sunday, March 12, 2023, by 11:59 p.m.
