Ferris, CTA Union Reach Tentative Agreement

The Clerical Technical Association at Ferris State University and the University’s bargaining team have reached tentative agreement on a new six-year contract effective upon ratification by the Association and the University’s Board of Trustees.

The Association’s current five-year contract expired June 30, 2018.

“We are pleased to reach tentative agreement on a new contract,” said Marie Delamater, CTA president. “Our bargaining committee will be recommending ratification to our membership, and we look forward to continuing our work at the University,” added Delamater.

University President David Eisler thanks the CTA for their important work at the University.

“We are grateful to have reached tentative agreement with the employees represented in the Clerical Technical Association,” said Eisler. “Thank you to both negotiation teams for their willingness to work through the contract issues at the table and to reach this tentative agreement.”

The 150-member union affected by the contract includes office clerical and technical support employees.
