Lincoln Gibbs has invested his time learning about the Ferris State University campus,
and the College of Health Professions since he arrived this summer from Salisbury University, in Maryland, to assume duties
as CHP associate dean.
CHP Dean Matthew Adeyanju believes that Gibbs will be a great addition to the college, and the university.
“He’s very experienced in the academic setting and brings a fresh perspective to our administrative ranks,” Adeyanju said. “We feel Lincoln will be able to make important contributions to CHP programs.”
In his previous position, Gibbs was a faculty member, and chair of Salisbury’s Health
and Sport Sciences department. He has received numerous awards and recognitions, and
Gibbs has also been active in community and volunteer activities, global health initiatives,
and professional development and training.
