VIDEO: Homecoming King and Queen Candidates
Two men and five women vie for the titles of Ferris State University homecoming king and queen, respectively.
The king and queen will be crowned during halftime of the Ferris-University of Findlay football game by 2013 King Kevin Bunce and Queen Katie Rachon. The game kicks off at 2 p.m. from Top Taggart Field.
“The candidates this year are diverse and driven,” said Mel Kocefas, the homecoming king and queen selection chair. “They are positive role models on campus and in the community. Each candidate has a variety of involvements as well as an immense amount of Ferris pride.”
King and queen voting began Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 8 a.m. and runs until Thursday, Oct. 2 at 11:59 p.m. In order to vote, students must be currently enrolled at Ferris and registered on the Election Portal in Bulldog Connect. Click here to visit the Bulldog Connect, here.

To run for king or queen, candidates must be a full-time student and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. They also must be involved in an extra-curricular activity affiliated with the university and must be sponsored by two registered student organizations.
