`Live United Color War and 5K Run' Gives Students an Opportunity to Give Back

Ferris State UniversityFerris State University offers students and the community a colorful way to get involved on campus with the “Live United Color War and 5K Run” on Sunday, Sept. 28 at the West Campus Intramural Field beginning at 6 p.m.

The Live United Color War and 5K run is the kick-off event for this year’s 2014 homecoming week. The event features an obstacle course and a 5K run.

At the end, participants will toss their color packets in a color war.”

Event registration is open until Wednesday, Sept. 24. After this date, participants must register on the day of the event. Admission includes one T-shirt (first 200 participants) and two color packets. Additional color packets can be purchased for $2 at the event.

It is advised that participants pick up their shirts and color packet vouchers on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 12 to 5 p.m. at the University Recreation Center.
