Ferris offers a bachelor’s degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and an associate degree in HVACR Technology. Programs listed in the rankings offer, at minimum, an Associate of Applied Science while some offer a bachelor’s degree in HVACR. The website added that the listed schools, “Represent a diverse geographic area and each has its own strengths that can help to propel students into a brand new lifelong career.”

The website’s methodology cites three main factors: degree offered (rather than certificate), accreditation (HVACR excellence, Partnership for Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Accreditation) and certifications preparation.
