Office of Multicultural Student Services to Host Kwanzaa Presentation

Ferris State University’s Office of Multicultural Student Services will host a Kwanzaa event for the community.

The event takes place on Thursday, Dec. 4 beginning at 11 a.m. in the FLITE library building, Room 159, the home of OMSS.

Kwanzaa, a weeklong celebration, is an African American and Pan-African holiday that is celebrated by millions of people throughout the world. The 2014 Kwanzaa celebration begins Friday, Dec. 26 and runs through Thursday, Jan. 1. This year’s theme is “Practicing the Culture of Kwanzaa: Living the Seven Principles.”
